Upstairs Technology Solutions, based in Mbezi Beach, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, receives and processes information submitted through this careers application form for the specific role you apply to.

When you apply, we collect the information you submit in the form: your full name, email address, phone number, current city or region, years of experience, a short statement of why you are interested in the role, and, if you choose to provide it, a LinkedIn profile link.

We also collect the CV file you upload, and technical details needed to accept the submission and prevent abuse, such as verification signals from our anti-spam check.

We use the information you submit only to assess your application and contact you about the specific role you applied for. We do not use it for any other purpose without asking you first.

Only authorized recruitment staff who monitor the recruitment inbox can access submitted applications. Applications are never copied or forwarded to personal email addresses.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that a submission comes from a real person and to reduce spam and automated abuse.

We use Resend to deliver application emails to the recruitment inbox. Both Cloudflare and Resend act as processors on our behalf and only handle the data needed to perform these functions.

Cloudflare and Resend may process data on infrastructure located outside Tanzania, under their own security and privacy safeguards. We select processors that maintain reasonable safeguards, but we do not claim any specific certification on their behalf.

You may ask us to provide access to, correct, or delete the personal information you submitted. Email the recruitment contact address above. We will verify your identity before acting on the request.

Upstairs Technology Solutions will confirm and publish the approved retention period for successful and unsuccessful applications before this form accepts submissions.

We may need to keep application records for longer than our normal retention period where a legal, dispute, or regulatory obligation requires it.

If you are not selected for the role you applied to, we do not add you to a pool for future opportunities and we do not retain your information for that purpose unless you separately and explicitly consent.

We never use information submitted through this form for marketing.

We may update this notice as our recruitment process changes. We will post the revised notice on this page with a new effective date.
